Many thanks to volunteers Fran and Conchi for reuniting a mother duck and her ducklings this afternoon, after the ducklings became trapped in a fountain at a park in Eltham, and thanks also to Andy from the Swan Sanctuary for his advice.

This isn't the first time we've had issues with waterfowl getting trapped in this particular fountain so we will be reaching out to the park management to try to prevent this from keep happening. In the meantime, the park keeper has kindly agreed to get in touch ASAP if any more birds become trapped.
