We are receiving more reports than ever about trapped, injured or distressed animals, are in need of vital protective gear and equipment in order to keep our volunteer team safe whilst they are attending to these reports.

Sometimes, to remove animals from high risk situations and get them to a place of safety, our volunteers must access tall buildings or trees with ladders, or enter lakes and canals. As you can imagine, these activities can involve a certain level of risk, so being properly equipped is an absolute must.

In particular, protective wear for rescue missions involving water, such as waders and life vests, is surgently needed.

During the spring and summer months, when wildlife rescue centres are flooded with orphaned and injured baby animals, our funds are largely devoted to buying food, rearing formula and medical supplies, so little remains to spend on rescue equipment. Any donation of items that fall into this catergory would therefore be hugely appreciated.
