A huge thank you to all the volunteers & local people that came along to our Tree Watering Day on Winn's Common this afternoon.

Having seen that the young, newly planted trees on the Common were struggling in the heat wave, we organised the session to provide each tree with several litres of water.

It was a great turn out and each tree got a good, long drink!

We also provided trays of water to the large flocks of gulls and crows on Winn's Common who are also likely to have difficulty finding water sources in current temperatures. They were extremely grateful and delighted in bathing in the trays as much as they did drinking it.
